In 1954, the U.S. Air Force used this .34 acre site, located at the corner of Second and E Streets in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a barracks and later for the storage of lumber and scrap plumbing materials. The lease was terminated in 1965 and the site is currently operated by the Utah Air National Guard as part of their 135 acre National Guard installation. The space is now used as a general office, publications distribution office, education office, and a supply warehouse.
