  Sunset Firing Range was used as a testing ground for military ordnance. There were no reported improvements to the site. No reference was found to determine which War Department component utilized the site; however, the Ordnance Department was the last associated entity prior to disposal of the subject property. The Sunset Firing Range has been given a Categorical Exclusion because no records are available. During the records research, interviews, and site inspections conducted related to this site, there were no hazards or potential environmental liabilities noted from the past use of the site by the Department of Defense. No evidence of hazards was found during the site visit; therefore this site is recommended for No Department of Defense Actions Indicated (NDAI).
